LG’s next-generation flagship handset’s plan to enter the market is unclear. Earlier this year, the company said it would not continue to implement its annual plan, such as the new LG V30s, which was officially unveiled at MWC. However, since “G7 Neo” was shown at the Barcelona show, we have heard rumors about the company’s upcoming flagship product, and today we got a message that the company is going to launch its mobile phone.
According to Etnews, LG plans to launch its “LG G7” this May. Clearly, the data suggest that LG could release the phone by the end of April and start selling it in late May.
The report further notes that “LG G7 Plus” will also be launched with “G7”. Although, compared to LG v30+,g7+ has greater storage space and running memory. However, LG G7 and g7+ Two handsets will provide Qualcomm Xiao Dragon 845 and OLED display.
More or less, the estimated May upcoming release will be the LG G7 Neo we saw on MWC.
Interestingly, the LG phone was reported to have been slightly more expensive than LG G6. That means it will rise 100,000 won, about 100 dollars. Other flagship products are also kept at this price or slightly higher, which is not difficult to explain the fact that LG price increase.
The report also said LG will offer the same AI camera features as LG V30S on the new flagship and combine a similar dual-camera setting. But this time, the two cameras seem to use vertical styling.
For me, I am looking forward to LG’s upcoming launch of the new machine, such as whether it really has bangs. However, I am sure that raising prices in this way means shooting yourself in the foot. Keeping the same price as last year will make the device more receptive and compelling than those that raise prices, especially if you see the Samsung Galaxy S9 still keeping its original price.
